A Letter to Supporters
To Our Supporters, Partners, Followers, Friends, and Family,
On this Giving Tuesday, we're thrilled to update you on the exciting things we've been working on and reach out to our individual family supporters, corporate partners, and the general public for their support.
First, we want to express our gratitude for the incredible support you've given us over the past year and since our journey began four years ago. We're grateful for the positive affirmations we've received from the overdose prevention community and others who have shed light on our mission. Our mission is to create a more profound knowledge base that reaches the target audience of 18-39 year-old Gen Z and Millennial generations. We aim to educate people on what they're putting in their bodies to avoid dangerous situations such as Fentanyl overdoses, which are becoming too familiar. Our primary prevention tool is education; we're committed to providing more.
Our mission is to raise awareness, reduce social stigma, educate, and provide resources for substance use and fentanyl overdose prevention. We have been hard at work doing just that. Examples include spreading kindness and awareness with our community kindness rock days, powerful social media campaigns, and setting up informational booths to offer educational material and to give away fentanyl test strips and Narcan at no cost to the recipient. We are also proud to say that 100% of donations received go directly toward the cause thanks to our tireless team of volunteers.
We are already lining up several showcase events in 2024 to further our cause, and we're thankful for the incredible connections and personal Rolodexes that our followers have shared with us to explore possible opportunities for real change. Fundraising will always be our top priority, but we've learned that we need to be a disruptive force in how we do it.
Your personal contributions play a vital role in our mission to put a stop to overdose-related deaths through education and public awareness. Thanks to your support, we can offer essential resources such as naloxone and fentanyl test strips without cost to those who need them. Your donations help give hope to families now and tomorrow, that #LoveLivesOn. For families like ours who have been touched by the deadly effects of Fentanyl, we thank you for your support. We'll continue to work full-time to raise funds to assist in this endeavor. We know it's a never-ending fight, and we need your collective support and consistent help to exceed and achieve our goal, ensuring no other family goes through what we have.
We are so grateful for the ongoing support and appreciate the new commitments we continue to receive from individuals, families, small businesses, and corporate donors. We’d love for you to consider donating to The Hummingbird Project this Giving Tuesday. Any amount you give will help eradicate this epidemic from our country's households. We could not do this vital work without your help, and we thank you in advance for your ongoing generosity.

BE A LIFESAVER
Your support can be the lifeline that someone needs today.
Unsuspecting victims die of fentanyl overdoses every day.
Fentanyl doesn't discriminate; it affects everyone. You don't need to be an avid drug user or abuser for fentanyl to pose a danger. The risk is real and widespread, reaching across backgrounds and lifestyles. It's a reminder that none of us are immune. Whether it's a single wrong encounter or an accidental exposure, the consequences can be dire. That's why with your support, The Hummingbird Project plans to ensure that everyone understands the risks, has access to resources, and knows how to stay safe. Because when it comes to fentanyl, we're all in this together.
Every dollar counts.
Every donation, regardless of size, plays a critical role in our efforts to combat the fentanyl crisis and create a safer, more informed community.
$25 Donation
Each $25 donation helps us provide vital educational materials, distribute naloxone kits, and host online workshops to spread awareness about safer substance use practices.
$50 Donation
With each $50 donation, we can conduct training sessions, organize local events, and develop printed resources to reach more communities with our harm reduction message.
$100 Donation
Each $100 donation supports initiatives like community workshops, research projects, and mobile outreach units, allowing us to engage directly with at-risk populations and advocate for meaningful policy changes.
Donate today and be a part of the positive change we're working to achieve. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
